WEEK 2 OF BETTER TOGETHER!!!!
Knowing Your Needs and Desires in Community:
Take a moment to reflect on what you need from your community. Do you find yourself needing emotional support, accountability, motivation, or perhaps intellectual stimulation? Understanding your personal needs will help you align with the right community.
1. Identify Your Values and Goals: What matters most to you right now? Whether it’s emotional well-being, personal growth, career success, or spiritual fulfillment, clarifying your goals will guide your search for a supportive community.
2. Assess Your Current Relationships: Look at the people around you—friends, family, or coworkers. Are your needs being met by these relationships? Is there a gap that you feel?
3. Consider What You Need Most: Think about the type of support you’re looking for. Do you need:
Emotional Support: A safe space to share your feelings and feel understood.
Accountability: People who help you stay on track with your goals.
Motivation: Connections that inspire and push you forward.
Intellectual Stimulation: Conversations and interactions that challenge and grow your mind.
Other Needs: Perhaps you need social, physical, or spiritual support.
4. Explore Different Communities: Whether it’s online groups, local meet-ups, professional networks, or social circles, consider which type of community best fits your needs.
5. Align with the Right Community: Once you know what you’re looking for, find communities that resonate with your needs. The right connections can help you thrive and find a true sense of belonging.
Take the time to regularly reflect on your evolving needs, ensuring your community continues to support your growth.

Erica Mason, Ashley Rose and 6 others-
I want to encourage each of you to take a moment to sit with yourself, and write down all of the needs that come up. Don’t judge, overthink, or deem any need “too small”. Write out a list as if something greater than you would meet each one. What would be on your list?

This is amazing…most people “including me” talk about it…change, growth, acceptance, fears, etc. But I’ve discovered that when I talk about it I don’t be about it…when I write these things I tend to hold myself more accountable to addressing the issues and making things happen. Maybe it’s because when it comes out my mouth it seems to disappear into thin air but when I put it down on paper it pressures me to get it done. 🌹

There’s something powerful about putting thoughts into writing—it makes everything feel more concrete and real. It’s like seeing it on paper forces you to face it and take action. It’s awesome that you’ve found what works for you! Keep writing and holding yourself accountable—you’re making it happen!
